Round Rock Dolphins INV swimmers had some amazing swims with a lot of medals an incredible 5 Dolphin records set. That doesn't include the extra record broken, as we had two swimmers break the same record, in the same event, but can only count one of them (sorry Ryan).

This is the final meet update of the year. Everyone have a great summer. Links to the Meet details below:
NWSC Division 2 Finals Meet (7/9/2022)
What a great way to end the season. The temperatures we hot, but so was the swimming with an incredible number of Time Improvements, Bingos, and Records broken. For this late in the season it was amazing to see 234 Time Improvements, 135 Swimmers receiving improvements, and 21 total bingos at the meet.
Special recognition is needed for our record breaker on Saturday. Jaden Yue broke a 25 year old Dolphin record in the Boys 13-14 Butterfly by almost half a second with a time of 25.08. Congratulations Jaden!!!!
Also special congratulations to our newly qualified invitational swimmers. Cael Bodnar, Will McKee, Hadley Robinson, Sam Bingham, Jayden Kuntzman, and Emmy Schultze. They left it to the last possible moment, but made some incredible swims to be able to compete Sunday. Good Luck at Invitationals to all our INV swimmers.
For the second week in a row, Forest North had our number and we finished second in the Division. Final score was FN: 1355, RRD: 942, BHC: 896.
It was a great season of swimming and it felt great to get back to what Dolphins like to do, swim fast and have fun!!!! Thanks to all that make it happen. Have a great rest of your summer and hopefully we'll see you back next season. Hip Zoo Rah!!!
Round Rock Dolphins vs. Forest North Stingrays (7/2/2022)
The Dolphins returned to Micki this week as the away team and swam a very competitive meet against the Stingrays. Despite being very deep into the season, the Dolphins continue to rack up the time improvements with only minimal drop-off from the last few weeks. It has been great to see this all the way through the regular season
This week we need to make special mention of a new Dolphin's Record. Congratulations to Jaden Yue who broke the 13-14 Boys 50y Backstroke record with a time of 25.84. This eclipses the old record held by Cruz Eklund by nearly half a second. Congratulations Jaden.
Despite the continued improvement the Dolphins suffered their first defeat of the season to the Stingrays. Final meet score was 292 - 340.
Only the Divisional and Invitiational meets remain and both will be run next weekend. Don't forget about the Pep rally this coming week where we get pumped up for this big competition against our Division 2 rivals Forest North and Block House Creek. Please look for messages on these events.

Round Rock Dolphins vs. Wells Branch Armada (6/25/2022)
The Dolphins finished their last swim at away pools this week with a trip to North Austin to face the Well Branch Armada. We had another all-around great meet with fast swims combined with a good time. The best part about the summer is seeing the progress of all the kids. We continue to see huge numbers of improvements, swimmers completing their first successful swims in events, kids qualifying for Invitationals and just overall lots of fun.
All of the fast swims resulted in another great team performance with the Dolphins defeating the Armada 474 to 172.
It's hard to believe but we are very rapidly approaching the end of the season. Next week we return to our home pool but are the away team as we swim our last regular season meet against division rivals the Forest North Stingrays. The weekend after that is our big Divisional meet with the Invitational Meet the day after for those that qualify. Both of those meets will be at our Home Pool - Micki Krebsbach. Expect more information on the Divisional and Invitational Meets very soon.

Round Rock Dolphins vs. Georgetown Aquadillos (6/18/2022)
The team continues to string fantastic meets together with a lot of fast swims, a lot of participation, and continued time improvements. The team spirit was everywhere with blue hair galore and a person sized Dolphin making an appearance in the tents. The coaches relay was the highlight of the meet with that same dolphin doing a lap, though given their pool speed it may not have actually been a dolphin.
For the overall team, Round Rock beat Georgetown 383 to 258 with again both the Men and the Women posting great team scores. Let's keep the momentum going next week vs. the Armada!!!!
Only two more meets to go before the big divisional meet. Next week is our last meet away from Micki.
Final result files:
Round Rock Dolphins vs. Anderson Mill Barracudas (6/11/2022)
Another great meet from our swimmers who endured Mid-Summer Texas like hot conditions to post an impressive number of Bingos and time improvements. Congratulations to all our swimmers and particularly those that registered their first swims this week!!!
In addition to all the individual achievements, the team had a very good week with the Round Rock Dolphins Beating the Anderson Mill Barracudas. RRD 304 - AMB 295. In fact both the Men's and the Women's team bested their higher division competitors. Great Meet Team!!!
This week we have added back the Invitational Report where swimmers who have qualified for the NWSC Invitational event at the end of the season can go and check to see if they've made it. More information on the July 10th Invitational will be available in the coming weeks.
Final result files:
Round Rock Dolphins vs. Block House Creek Tidal Waves (5/28/2022)
Today was a great way to start the Dolphin season. We had many swimmers completing their first competitive length, many swimmers putting up significant time improvements, as well as some team veterans putting up record times. Thanks everyone for a great 1st meet.
Overall the Dolphins beat the Tidal Waves 389-252. We saw almost 400 time improvements, 85 Bingo's, and Hanna OLeary break the Dolphins 100y Freestyle record for the Women's 15-17 age group. Congratulations all swimmers!!!
Our next meet is a Tri-meet vs. Steiner Blue Stars and Pflugerville Piranhas. I hope to see everyone continue the great improvement next week
