Division 2 Finale (7/8/2023)
Congratulations Dolphins on a great way to end the season. All the way through the final meet, swimmers were getting Time Improvements, 23 Swimmers attained bingos and 5 new Swimmers qualified for NWSC 2023 Invitationals.
I'd like to recognize 2 swimmers who qualified for Invitationals in their last swims for the Dolphins. Maggie Arredondo (17) and Leah Do (17). You both left it very very late, but earned another day as a Dolphin. Good luck at the RRAC tomorrow.
Despite being a little shorthanded with a lot of Dolphins on vacation this week we still earned a respectable 2nd place in Division 2. Final Scores: FNS - 1374.5, RRD - 966.5, GTA - 828.
Have a great summer and good luck to all INV swimmers.

Round Rock Dolphins vs. Steiner Stars Red (7/1/2023)
It was another great day at the pool today as there were a lot of continued time improvements, an incredible amount getting Bingo's, and 2 new swimmers gaining INV qualifiers. Great job Dolphins. It's hard to believe we have only one more week left in the season.
Today Steiner Stars got the better of the Dolphins in an overall close meet against a Division 1 team. The final tally was Stars - 344, Dolphins - 306.
We finish the season next week with two big meets and our Pep Rally. The Pep rally Thursday night will pump the team up for the weekend's events. The Divisional Meet on Saturday is where our Division 2 rivals, Block House Creek and Forrest North, will compete with us for the Top Trophy. Sunday is the Invitational meet where swimmers who have qualified will swim against the best in the circuit. I hope to see you all next weekend and have a happy 4th.

Round Rock Dolphins vs. Block House Creek Tidal Waves (6/17/2023)
Dolphins were once again very speedy in the pool with a lot of Time Improvements (165), a lot of bingos (27) and a few new swimmers qualifying for our invitationals meet (7). This is especially great to see this far into the season where the improvements get a lot harder. Everyone keep up all the great swims. Great meet by all in a warm and humid environment.
Our Dolphins also had a very good day on the scoreboard with a 397-244 victory with the Women really swimming well beating their counterparts 231-90. Have a great weekend everyone and happy Father's day to all Dad's out there.

Round Rock Dolphins vs. Georgetown Aquadillos (6/10/2023)
The Dolphins finished their last swim at away pools this week with a trip to Georgetown to face the Aquadillos. We had another all-around great meet with fast swims combined with a good time. The best part about the summer is seeing the progress of all the kids. We continue to see improvements and just overall lots of fun and smiles.
The team had a very good week with the Round Rock Dolphins Beating the Georgetown Aquadillos. RRD 334 - GTA 290.
It's hard to believe but we are very rapidly approaching the end of the season. Next week we return to our home pool to face the Tidal Waves. Don't forget the Express Game on Wednesday!

Round Rock Dolphins vs. Brushy Creek Marlins vs. Forest North Stingrays (5/27/2023)
Great first meet of the season. Thank-you's have already been passed around but I want to reiterate what an awesome job everyone did in enabling us to maximize the number of swimmers that got in the water and complete a full meet.
There were kids making their first official swims and some great perseverance was shown from Dolphins that couldn't make it across the pool when we started practice. We also had some really fast swims for our first meet of the season. We saw quite a few time improvements, quite a few invitational qualifier times and a couple of records broken.
Dempsey Cho broke a 20 year old Dolphins record in the Boys 9-10 25 breast stroke. Dempsey broke Dolphin legend Kerrington Hill's record with a time of 16.46.
Hannah O'Leary as broke her own record from last year in the Women's 15-17 breast stroke. She beat her old time by almost 30 seconds with a new time of 30.58
Congratulations Dempsey and Hannah.
Despite all the really fast swims, this was probably our toughest competition of the entire season and the Dolphins came in 3rd place in the tri-meet. The final scores were Marlins: 1124, Stingrays: 1007, Dolphins: 868.
It was a great start to the season. Thanks again and I look forward to see everyone next week.

2023 Practice Meet (5/19/2023)
Great meet to kick-off the season. There were a lot of kids having fun, and it was great to see all our new swimmers in the pool and making their first trip down the lanes in a meet environment. We were also able to smooth out some rough edges of the systems and operations ahead of what will be our largest and tightest timeline meet of the season (including divisionals). Congrats again to all our swimmers.
With every meet you can get results both in the app, but we will also post some links to PDF's of results. You can also always see historical results on the Meet results tab in the main page.
Can't wait for next week when we officially kick off the season's meets.
